As you make this virtual visit to our campus we believe you will meet some of the finest educators and students anywhere!  We hope you will be excited by what you find!  Since its founding in 1971, SPCS has enjoyed a reputation of academic excellence.  St. Petersburg Christian School received national recognition when it was named a No Child Left Behind - Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education in the fall of 2003.

This is the highest honor a public or private school in the United States can receive!  Students' achievement test scores routinely place their classes in the top 10% of the nation in both Reading and Math!  Their success is apparent at the close of each grading period when 70% or more of the student body achieve honors!

A well-balanced curriculum provides ample opportunity for children to develop capability in the arts, athletics and technology.  Specialists who meet state certification requirements teach each of these areas.

A ministry of Suncoast Cathedral, St. Petersburg Christian School serves young people representing more than 120 churches as well as many nationalities and creeds.  Bible classes, weekly chapel and prayer are an integral part of a student's experience at SPCS.  St. Petersburg Christian School welcomes elementary students of any race, creed of national origin, according them all the rights, privileges and programs afforded students at the school.  Diversity is encouraged within the middle school, as well, through a personal commitment to Christian tenets is necessary.
